 you cant steal my soul its locked in my heart

you cant steal my soul even if you tare me apart 

you cant take whats me away because im here to stay. 

you cant see what hides behind my eyes as you hit me with more lies. 

your ideals are not my goal i have better things to do with my soul 

take this away with you one more time my heart is in its prime.

        To my friends I'm not going to moan or gripe Or even shake my head while smoking a pipe I'm going to praise the moments we have left And make sure that they are the best I'm going to make sure you understand what You signed up for when you became a friend . A shoulder to cry on a post to scratch A door that's never locked or on the latch. A loan shark that has that has no teeth Where you can get what you need Even if your trapped on a reef.
