EARLY WORKS

Some of my early works .i was exploring writing and concepts of life when i wrote these little ditties .
I was looking at the world though kaleidoscope glasses when i wrote them... 


The ramblings of a madman

Haunted by the past because his dreams didn't last
Sickened by fate because life wouldn't wait
Hanging by the ally looking for release
Taking a step back just in case of attack
Driven by posturing a language of stance
Written in words that took more than one glance
Stepping out of his inward approach
Knocking down statues that won't crumble away
Looking for an exit from the affray
Diving in with mouth open wide
Drowning with feelings that he should hide
Seeing through eyes that should know better
Speaking in tongue that splits the line
No knowing the right pose to take
Maybe its time for a break
On the way back he comes to pass
His life was only made of glass
So easy to break this fragile noose
Pushing it home to be let loose
Professional to the core the
Bond growing week
Hidden in lessons on how to be meek
The final dance is about to set sail
Waiting in silence under the vial
Cry not the bell that rang ages ago
He's been and gone along with the flow.

Magical World of tragedy

Tenuous link that will take you to the brink
Raft made of beads reminding you of bad deeds
Flowing with charts of desire barriers still up
Wise up now if only for the cup
Translucent flowers beauty well hidden
Horses with races still to be ridded
Machine at standstill rust never sleeps
Old man dying partner ready to weep
Cards well stacked bad hand bad blow
Arrow in flight without the bow
Retaliated enemy fight to and fro
Singing in step without the beat
Crying inside without conception
Listening for noise without reception
Shaping the futures without knowledge of the past
Passion for living has now passed the date
Time to push the coil into the casket
Brushed with what was known best

Fruit is left of any zest.

Black dog

 Please share  To help with mental awareness  Many scars are not visible  Best off not looking in my head  said the black dog laying in its bed Best off going away and playing with your drone and leaving me alone  said the black dog laying in its bed The way I feel is not too real  But I still turn this wheel around and around  Will it come around too the right slot or maybe not  said the black dog laying in its bed Who can tell when all will be well All I know come what may tomorrow maybe a better day or not said the grey dog laying in its bed R bokor

To my friends

        To my friends I'm not going to moan or gripe Or even shake my head while smoking a pipe I'm going to praise the moments we have left And make sure that they are the best I'm going to make sure you understand what You signed up for when you became a friend . A shoulder to cry on a post to scratch A door that's never locked or on the latch. A loan shark that has that has no teeth Where you can get what you need Even if your trapped on a reef. A place where you can laugh at each others mistakes especially if you stand on the garden rake . So don't ever feel like you've let me down I've got only a smile and never a frown .. By R.Bokor
