  They said there would be snow at Christmas They said there would be snow at Christmas They promised us a Silent night . But what we got was hell at Christmas and a world of political blight . No one would throw there arms down at Christmas or start giving a shite With a great yell no walls fell and we just closed the doors and turned out the light . They said we could have a quite Christmas but no chance of a reprieve from this living helll . We looked out the window this Christmas and saw the horseman go by leaving the rampage behind As they ride to the gates with the ring of a bell. They said there would be love at Christmas they gave us a chance to weep but since early march the price has been very steep. We need to turn the box off at Christmas and turn off the glare. We need to look around at Christmas for a matching pair . We need to open or heart at Christmas for all the ones who can't be there . We need to be one at Christmas within this world we share ......
